Digital South Collections

The Louis Round Wilson Library houses the special collections at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which include the University Archives and Records Management Services and five collections: the North Carolina Collection, the Rare Book Collection, the Southern Folklife Collection, and the Southern Historical Collection. These collections are available for research and classroom use. The libraries has digitized many collections; a list of fully digitized collections and notable digital exhibits can be found on the digital exhibitions and collections page.

The collections listed are either completely or partially digitized. Many have been used for digital scholarship projects; others are featured here to inspire future research on the South.
